Blog Question #3

I think he does this to emphasize on how much it affected him that such young people (even people around our age) were attacking villages in order to protect their families. It's sad when it has to go that far, and it shows how badly the younger people treated others and were treated.

Blog Question #2

I think the journalists drank a lot because they were writing about depressing things and they needed a replacement for happiness. It would been extremely tough to write about something like that in your right mind. They wrote the stories to help others, but couldn't handle the things they were writing about.

The prediction I made was right, I think. They had only alcohol left for a little bit of joy.

Blog Question #1

I think he means we all have to share our stories and let them out to feel as if somebody cares. I can relate to this because I personally can't keep my own secrets, I have to have at least one person to trust with them and share them with.

Scariest Dream

The scariest dream I've had took place in the building from the Saw movies. I was with some friends, but I don't remember who they were. We all knew that we were going to get tortured, so we went around looking for weapons so we could die quickly. I found a gun and asked my friend to shoot me, and she shot me right in the heart. It was pretty crazy because I actually remember feeling it. Everything slowed down and went numb, but there wasn't much pain in the area. I thought I was dead. It was weird, because I stood up and walked around the building. Everybody was looking at me, and I thought I was a ghost. I asked them if I was a ghost and they told me I was so I wouldn't be afraid anymore, but I was really still alive. Eventually, some random guy came in and we went into a tent. We became best friends and a doctor came in (i don't know how, seeing as we were in the Saw building..) & she tried to fix where I got shot, but couldn't. Finally, she let me out of the building & brought me to the hospital. It was pretty crazy.

Introduction

I woke up in a strange place, not knowing how I got there. My eyes adjusted to my surroundings; trees so tall they could touch the clouds, sunlight glowing through every open space between their leaves, creating rays of light like spotlights. Underneath my feet was soft, red dirt. I could almost taste the musty smell. I was completely alone in a place I'd never seen or heard of - afraid of what could possibly happen next, or why.
